Your space is already making an impression. Let's make sure it's the right one.

Most hospitality and corporate environments have untapped potential hiding in plain sight — spaces that could be reinforcing your brand, improving how guests feel, and giving your team something to be proud of. We help you find it, and then we take care of it.

How We Help

The way your lobby, reception, or common areas look and feel tells a story about your standards before anyone on your team says a word.

Most environments get this wrong — not from lack of care, but because no one has mapped the gap between the experience you want to deliver and the one guests actually have.

That's where we come in.

Season and Color works with hotels and offices to design, install, and maintain sustainable floral environments that do real work for your brand. We champion Midwest and American farms in our sourcing, use circular practices that reduce waste, and keep pricing transparent and predictable. No surprises, no fake plastic plants, no logistics for you to manage.

Consulting & Project Partnership

If you're a design studio, property management firm, or development team integrating sustainable florals and living plant systems into a renovation or repositioning, we can work alongside you as a specialist partner at whatever phase you need. That might be early-stage planning (what should the biophilic program actually include, and why?), sourcing and specification review, installation oversight, or ongoing advisory support across a portfolio of properties.

This might look like:

  • A written space opportunity assessment your team can share internally to build alignment

  • Project consulting at any phase — concept, specification, sourcing, or installation review

  • A retainer arrangement for firms who want a sustainable florals and plantscaping specialist available across projects

  • Available in the Chicago metro, and remotely for projects anywhere

How We Think

Season and Color is led by Kate Callahan, a member of the Sustainable Floristry Network with a background in human-centered design research and product development. That combination matters in practice: we think about what people actually experience in a space — not just what looks nature-adjacent — and can translate between the research, the design intent, and the materials on the ground.

How It Works

Step 1: Initial Consultation
Book a Space Opportunity Assessment or reach out directly. We'll discuss your space, goals, and budget.

Step 2: Proposal
Receive a clear proposal with design direction, scope, and pricing tailored to your budget and goals.

Step 3: Installation
We handle everything — design, sourcing, delivery, and installation at your preferred time.

Step 4: Ongoing Care (subscriptions)
Weekly refreshes, seasonal updates, and proactive communication about holidays or special requests.
